Easy InstantPot Marinara Sauce (Vegan, Oil Free)

We love Italian dishes in our house, and we really love the taste of a delicious marinara sauce. I just could never find a brand that I liked that was sugar free and did not contain oil. So I decided I would use my instantpot to create a completely whole food plant based marinara sauce.

Here's what you will need!
3 cups of water
12 oz of tomato paste
1 oz or 1/4th cups sun-dried tomatoes
2 tbs maple syrup
1 tbs salt free Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
Place all of your ingredients into the blender
Blend on medium-high speed for 30-45 seconds
Add blended mixture into the instantpot
Set for 10 minutes on the pressure cook setting
Quick release

I was really excited to try this! I made the recipe exactly as written, and, oh my gosh, you should have warned that it would be so peppery! It was inedible. I will make this again, but with several changes.
